I am coming to arizona for the month of april/may... I will be in bullhead city, prescott, and phoenix for about two weeks each starting next weekend... I am looking for some fire spinners to hook up with. I will be bringing my staff and poi but will have to leave the hoop at home due to its size... i like contact partner play with staff, and just lighthearted, open-minded spin jams. I am hopefully going to make it to toast. Anyone wanna show the new girl around?

You are in luck when you come to Prescott. It took me a while to find but we have a small group of fire spinners that meet on Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:30. Some other tribe members that go to the Monday night fire meeting are Tommy and Aurora, which I must say is a wonderful person and is amazing at all her talents. I also run a team of Jesters that do all sorts of the juggling arts, but it is all usually during the day and would probably be uninteresting because we are usually putting together routines and practicing them for the next upcoming gig.
Drop me a message before you get into town and I will get you directions to either of the events. Even if you are just looking for a friendly face to show you around one day/night.
BTW I love your photo album and have to ask, are you doing contact juggling with that silver sphere while spinning poi? L8er for now.

I had to go through my photos and see which one you were talking about because I definately do not do contact juggling (although i want to learn- just do not have the patience- maybe now with contact staff experience and some theory under my belt i might be better) and the only one i could find i was just spinning poi and someone behind me was taking a picture which caused the flash to look like a sphere... cool effect that i had not even noticed...
oh- i definately want directions... i will be bouncing back and forth between cities it looks like- instead of spending a solid ammount in one place... and it would be cool to pop in on your jester practice... although i do spin i am a choreographer at heart and so i love to just sit back and watch the different methods people use for communicating physical expression to eachother, and the way that shows are built. It give me ideas for things that work in the future. -
